Some bittersweet news: My parents are moving back from Michigan to Illinois. The good part is that they will be closer to me. The bitter part is that my siblings and I will all miss Michigan and the lake where my grandparents and then parents used to live and where we grew up vacationing in the summer. Through the years, my family has BUILT two houses there, and it is also the inspiration for my Bad Boys of Sweetwater: Tarnished Saints Series.
This series was inspired by people, places, and events in my life, focussed around the lake and small town in Michigan. If you read Book 1, Doubting Thomas, the bed and breakfast is my parents’ house. (My parents were my inspiration for creating the old couple who own it, but don’t tell them!) Levi’s house, right across the channel of water from his brother, was really my grandparents’ house. And Thunder Lake (fictional name in the book) is featured in all the stories as well. I’ll be talking more about my inspiration for the 12 Taylor brothers and their surroundings this weekend, so watch for my live video on facebook!
In the meantime, to celebrate this special place and time in my life, I’ve decided to offer Books 1-5 of my Bad Boys of Sweetwater: Tarnished Saints Series on kindle countdown (US & UK) for only 99 cents through the 14th. This set is normally $9.99, so don’t miss this deal. Find out all about the Taylor brothers, Thomas, Levi, Judas, Zeb and Simon for only 99c. I guarantee you will want to read about the rest of the brothers, James, Pete, Philip, John, Andrew, Nate and Thad as well. Sons of a preacher but far from saints, these men are nothing but trouble. (KU reads entire series free.)
Don’t forget to also pick up the FREE prequel to the series, Tarnished Saints’ Christmas, to learn about the men as boys and what paved the road to their stories. (Audiobook only $5.95 afterwards.)
And don’t forget this is the last day (the 8th) to get Forgotten Secrets: Book 4, Secrets of the Heart Series for only 99c! This is one of my FAVORITE books, and also a RONE Award nominee from InD’tale magazine this year. If you’d like to vote for it to help the book make it to the finals, you can do so thru the 10th at InD’tale magazine by clicking HERE. I appreciate each and every vote. My dream is to actually WIN this award this year.
Stay safe and healthy and I’ll be getting back to the writing hammock and my secret garden soon.
