Seductive Secrets is Here!

Seductive Secrets, Book 2 of my Secrets of the Heart Series is finally here! You can pick up your copy for only 99 cents for a limited time.

When I started this series, I knew I wanted to write about a second generation from some of my past characters. I took a poll with my readers and hands down the winning vote was for me to write about the children of the Legendary Bastards of the Crown.

Since the bastard triplets of the king were such strong and memorable characters, I of course had to make their daughters strong and feisty as well. Secrets of the Heart features Reed’s daughter, Fia in Highland Secrets, Rook’s daughter, Willow in Seductive Secrets, and Rowen’s daughter, Maira in Rebellious Secrets. (Rebellious Secrets is now on preorder for 99 cents, releasing on Nov. 28th.) The girls have been chosen by the queen to be part of a secret society of strong women. Reed has a second daughter, Morag who shows up in the series as a supporting character. I never meant for her to have her own story, but she is such a fun character that I couldn’t resist. Morag’s story will be Forgotten Secrets, Book 4. Look for it this winter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In case you missed Rook’s story, I have put Ruthless Knight on kindle countdown for 99 cents through Oct. 2nd. This will give you insight of Willow’s father. (KU can read both series plus the Seasons of Fortitude Series that is about the triplets’ sisters, for free.)

As I’m sure most of you know, I have a granddog who keeps me pretty busy. She is a sweet thing as well as very active, being a herding dog. I started to think about my books and how many of them have dogs in them. So, I decided to put together the boxed set, Loyal Hearts, with some of my favorites stories that all have heroes with dogs. Some have more than one dog, such as Benedict from Autumn’s Touch with 12 dogs, and John from Loving John who is a musher and has a team of sled dogs. Dog lovers will love this set! Cover Reveal, Contest & Free Book!

Hello and I hope you had a great Father’s Day weekend.

As you all know by now, I’ve been publishing my father’s poems into books as a thank you to him for all the things he’s done for me my entire life. He is always thinking of others and never himself so I thought it was time I did something special for him. He will be 89 this year, and having his poems published to share with all of you has been a thrill for him. I also thank you for all the reviews.

 

Recollection: A Treasury of Assorted Poems is his third and last book for now. (Unless he starts writing more.) As a Father’s Day gift to you from my father, the book is FREE through the 21st. A Fairy Tale Life – New release and free book

It’s been a long time in coming, but my Tangled Tales Series is now complete! You can pick up your copy of Heart of Ice (Snow Queen) Book 7 for only 99 cents and KU reads free.

MacKay de Bar is the last of the siblings to be cursed by the evil witch, Hecuba. MacKay’s anger toward the old hag causes him to break her magic mirror. One of the shards embeds into his chest, causing dark magic to take its toll as his curse is revealed. He is left on a frozen island with Lady Eira Koldottir, a warrior woman with a heart as cold as ice. But with MacKay’s curse, he sees things in opposite. So the meaner she is toward him, the more he likes her. (This leads to a few very humorous scenes.)

I came up with the idea of telling twisted, tangled, romantic retellings of classic fairy tales because I enjoyed the tales as a child but didn’t like all the horrible endings. This was my way to rewrite them the way I thought they should be.

I tried to stay true to the plot of the fairy tales but add twists and turns and situations you wouldn’t expect. The hard part was narrowing it down to only seven tales since I liked so many of them.
