And now available for pre-order is the last book of this series – Taming Thad – Book 12. Thad Taylor is the youngest of the Taylor Twelve, and has his hands full when he makes a promise to a dying man and ends up marrying the man’s daughter – who he didn’t know was blind.
Twenty years ago, the idea of the Tarnished Saints Series was born. I had just started writing romance at the time and thought to myself – wouldn’t it be a great idea to have a series about twelve brothers – sons of a preacher – named after the 12 apostles – but they’re trouble with a capital T. Hence, the tagline was formed: The Taylor Twelve. Sons of a preacher but far from saints, these men are nothing but trouble!
I must say, through the years I started to wonder what I’d been thinking to take on such a HUGE task. Doubting Thomaswas written, but sat in the closet until 3 years ago when I started self-publishing. Luring Levifollowed shortly afterwards, and Judging Judas had a long wait for its release. But now, three years later, all the boys’ stories have been told. (This was a very daunting project and I can’t say I ever plan on writing a series this long again!)
Thank you all for your patience through the years as I finished the series. This series is very close to my heart since it is based on some of my own life experiences. The setting is fictional – but real to me, as it is where I grew up visiting my grandparents on the lake. I see this series as books of memories of instances in my own life – added to new ones to make it a humorous, dramatic, and exciting series. These Taylor boys will make you laugh and make you cry, and before you know it, you’ll start believing that they are real. I feel like I know each and every one of them personally, and I wonder if you can guess which one or two are my favorites.
Thanks once again, and enjoy the troublesome Taylor brothers. Just click on their name and it’ll take you to their book on amazon. The books are available as ebooks or paperbacks: Prequel, Thomas, Levi,Judas,Zeb, Simon, James, Pete,Philip,John,Nate, Andrew and Thad! (These are my book sons, and I feel like a proud mother, having given life to each of them.)
Start your journey with the Taylor men with the Tarnished Saints’ Christmas – the series prequel that I’m offering free through Sat. May 14th.
Please join me at my facebook release party for Andrew on Wed. May 11th, from 5-9 pm Central time. I have a slew of guest authors and there will be games, giveaways and prizes, so you won’t want to miss it.

Speaking of flowers, did you know that the herbs in your garden can be used for more than just flavoring a savory dish? Cayenne is used to fight viruses as well as reduce pain and swelling. Comfrey is used to heal wounds, and thyme is used to treat a cough. Tumeric relieves arthritis pain and Sage has been found to help those with Alzheimer’s Disease function more smoothly. And my all time favorite that I swear by is oil of Oregano – a natural antibiotic that will knock an illness out of you before it has time to start.

Gardening Tip: I love to garden and would love to share a tip with you that has worked wonderfully for me. Adding coffee grounds to your compost or around your plants will give them a boost. You can strengthen your roses, add blue color to your hydrangeas, and get rid of garden pests like slugs by putting a ring of coffee grounds around the plant. Try it!
Another of my books that has to do with gardening is The Duke and the Dryad:Book 2 – Earth, from my Elemental Series. Rae-Nyst is an elemental of the earth and can control nature – but not Duke the Destroyer who threatens everything she believes in.
