Cover Reveal, Contest & Free Book!

Hello and I hope you had a great Father’s Day weekend.

As you all know by now, I’ve been publishing my father’s poems into books as a thank you to him for all the things he’s done for me my entire life. He is always thinking of others and never himself so I thought it was time I did something special for him. He will be 89 this year, and having his poems published to share with all of you has been a thrill for him. I also thank you for all the reviews.

Recollection: A Treasury of Assorted Poems is his third and last book for now. (Unless he starts writing more.) As a Father’s Day gift to you from my father, the book is FREE through the 21st. It is also available in print. Don’t miss his other two books, Reflections, and Squeaky the Squirrel.

I also wanted to tell you about a special project I’m involved in. It is a multi-author set called Rogues to Lovers: The Legend of the Blue Rose. It is now available on amazon to preorder for only 99 cents! These are all NEW stories by USA Today and Bestselling Authors. You can also preorder it from iTunes, Kobo, and Barnes and Noble. Release date is Sept. 11th. My story is called Scottish Rose. It is the story of Coira MacDuff who some of you might remember was the sister of my heroine in Aidan – Book 2 of my MadMan MacKeefe Series. More about her story coming up later on.

I’ve been working on Seductive Secrets – Book 2 of my Secrets of the Heart Series. This is the book about Willow, daughter of Rook who is one of the Legendary Bastards of the Crown. It isn’t available on preorder yet, but I was excited to show you the cover. So here is a sneak peek of what’s to come. And if you haven’t already pre-ordered your copy of Highland Secrets – Book 1, there is still time. The price of the book will go up right after the release date of July 6th, so don’t wait!

I recently had one of my newsletter subscribers ask if I had any contests for those who were not on facebook. Well, I do. I am giving away a $10 gift card and a second prize of your choice of one of my audio or ebooks. To enter, see the rafflecopter below.

And if you are on facebook, don’t forget I am having pre-party contests up until Highland Secrets is released. You can win this beautiful bracelet as well as other prizes. Go to my facebook PARTY PAGE to enter and click GOING if you might make it to the party on July 6th.

  1. I like to see couples on book covers but it really doesn’t matter as long as I want to read the story.

  2. To be honest it doesn’t matter to me, as long as it’s eye catching it could any or. I don’t mind bare chested men on covers either.

  3. Hi Elizabeth
Is Highland Secrets a novella or a book?
It didn’t show the page count on Amazon.

    • Billie, Highland Secrets is a full-length novel and runs 255 pages. The page count is on amazon, just look under product details to see it. It might not show if you are looking at it from your phone. Thanks for asking!

  4. I like them all, though I probably prefer that it have one or both the main characters on it. For couples, I like it best when they are looking at each other – with an expression appropriate to the scene – instead of at the camera.

  5. I don’t mind a couple, the female, the male, o even a bare-chested male. I just don’t like to share the bare-chested male covers on social media. Not a prude, but I have a variety of friends.

  6. I like a man and woman on the cover. I could do without the bare chested man on the covers. Thank You for the giveaway.

  7. Thanks for the news and giveaway, Elizabeth. To answer the Rafflecopter question, I prefer a couple on a cover. If a book is about two people in love, that’s what should be on the cover. Truth in advertising!

  8. I do like bare chested men on covers. I like all covers, individuals, coupled, scenes.

  9. I like a variety in my book covers so it just depends if it is done well

  10. i love your covers and it doesnt matter as long as it speaks about the story
