Authors In Bloom Hop

Once again, it is time for the multi-author hop, Authors in Bloom. This spring I have a few new releases, and more on the way. A Viking’s Promise, my first Viking novella that’s been seen as part of the Sirens of the Northern Seas boxed set is now available as a stand alone book.

Brandr gives a dainty blue Forget-me-not to Kadlin as his promise that he’ll return from the raid and marry her. Kadlin is a seer and knows trouble in on the horizon, but never does she expect what the gods have in store for her. Only 99 cents and KU reads free!

Speaking of flowers, did you know that the herbs in your garden can be used for more than just flavoring a savory dish? Cayenne is used to fight viruses as well as reduce pain and swelling. Comfrey is used to heal wounds, and thyme is used to treat a cough. Tumeric relieves arthritis pain and Sage has been found to help those with Alzheimer’s Disease function more smoothly. And my all time favorite that I swear by is oil of Oregano – a natural antibiotic that will knock an illness out of you before it has time to start.

Some of you might be happy to know that the entire Daughters of the Dagger Series is now available in one boxed set for a limited time price of $9.99. (You save $7) And Kindle Unlimited readers can read for free!

Amethyst has now also been released as an audiobook, so you can not only read, but listen to the entire seriesdaggerfullbox500

And right now TheΒ Baron’s Bounty is on kindle countdown for 99 cents, so get it before the price changes.

For those of you who like a small town contemporary series, for the next few days you can get Doubting Thomas – Book 1 of my Tarnished Saints Series for FREE!

Watch for Igniting Andrew – Book 11 of my Tarnished Saints Series to be released near the end of the month.

To win a signed paperback of Loving John – Book 9, or one of five audiobooks of AmethystBook 4 of the Daughters of the Dagger Series, please enter my contest thru the rafflecopter below. You’ll also find the links to all the 57 authors in this hop at the end of this post. If you visit each author’s site and leave a comment you can qualify for the grand prize. (Click on Diane Venetta’s page for more details.)

And for a delicious recipe, try Addey’s Hearty Beef Stew. Addey, or Dr. Bee, as they call her in Loving John makes this dish for John. You’ll also get to see what she looks like on the recipe page.

Enjoy, and happy spring. I hope your blooms this year are many.

  1. I actually read a whole lot !! I enjoyed and bought the first 3 Dagger series Amber,Ruby and Sapphire ! Didn’t know about the prequel to the series , but I have to say I loved Sapphire the best ! would love to get Amethyst autographed to seal my set !! Well done and CONGRATS on Amethyst

  2. Are you more apt to buy a boxed set of one author, multi-authors, or would you prefer individual books?

this depends … epub books I’d rather buy one book at a time but I have bought boxed sets …but single authors preferably (I do buy boxed set, multi authors though when it’s for a charity)

Paperback … I often look for boxed sets (Sometimes you just want to buy a set) but usually they are singles so that is how I buy them

  3. Interesting little factoids about herbs. I love to grow thyme because it’s pretty and makes nice ground cover (and of course smells great, especially lemon thyme). Thanks for sharing! πŸ™‚ cchant86 @

  4. I like authors boxed sets but I like there individual books also. I buy boxed sets by mult-authors if at least one of my favorite author is in it. It is also a good way to find new authors. Thank you for your giveaway and a chance to win. My husband and I are just getting into audiobooks. We buy them at Meijer’s and we have some on our Kindle Fire.

    • Geraldine, I’m glad to hear you are getting into audiobooks. I love them!

  5. Even though I enjoy reading them all, I really like to find boxed sets by one author. It is nice to have several books in the series by the same author.

  6. I guess I have more individual books, but I do like and have several sets. I like being able to buy the sets basically to have the books are belong in a series.

  7. I do like separate books. But I will be a set in a series if it is an author I really enjoy!

  8. personally, i prefer boxed sets from one author, but i also enjoy multi-author sets with a common ingredient (setting, genre, etc).

  9. It doesn’t make a bit of difference to me. It is nice to get a set, especially if it includes all or a large portion of a series–makes it a lot easier to read in sequence!

  10. I love that your characters have such unique names!

  11. I tend to buy individual books or anthologies that include stories by the same author. I find multi-author sets to be hit or miss more often than not.

  12. I like boxed sets both single authors and mixed. Thanks for having this contest.

    • Well, I like the discounted aspect of many boxed sets, but I would probably go with the individual books to not spend a lot to try out a new series and if I liked the first book, who wants to wait until a series is completely (and how many times has a set come out and a new book added later!!) ended to buy the boxed set and read the rest?

  13. I prefer individual books, but I like when novellas by multiple authors are boxed together. Then I can get a taste of multiple authors so I’m more apt to buy those. Thank you!

  14. I like getting box sets of one author that way I know I will like each story if the author is a favorite of mine πŸ™‚

  15. I usually buy individual books but sometimes if a box set is cheaper I will wait for it. Every once in a while, I will buy a box set of multiple authors because it is a good way to find new authors.

  16. depends on the set, If I am starting a series I buy individual books, If I like the series I will wait for a box set or a sale. If I am looking for something new I go with multiple author sets to see if I find someone I like.

  17. I like stand alone books, and books in a set either by the same or different authors. (mybeach52 at yahoo dot com)

  18. Hello Elizabeth, I prefer single copies. My favorite books are hardbacks. Thank you

  19. Congrats on all of your releases, you are a VERY busy author! Thanks for the giveaway…and it depends, sometimes I enjoy getting to know authors new to me in a boxed set, but other times I like having a collection of my favorite titles!
